A Stroll Through Cordes

A Stroll Through Cordes

Cordes sur Ciel, France

Situated in the Tarn department of south western France, the town of Cordes was built in 1222. It formally became known as Cordes sur Ciel in 1993 and its new name reflects the seasonal phenomenon in which the mists surrounding the town make it appear to be floating above the clouds - Cordes in the sky.

  • I select the highest quality papers and materials in order to ensure your prints will last for generations to come. All prints are hand signed and available in limited editions to 250, and available in various sizes as matted prints, stretched canvas, or framed canvas.

    Fine Art Matted Prints

Finished with an archival white mat, prints are mounted on an acid free mounting board. Each print is available in a variety of standard sizes, ready for your framing.

Stretched Canvas - Ready to Hang

For a more contempoary option, each image is offered printed on a high quality canvas material and stretched around the outside of a wooden stretcher bar frame. The stretched canvas gives the image a softer, three-dimentional effect perfect for many of my images. A moisture and U.V. protectant ensure your artwork will maintain its quality for years to come. Once stretched, it is ready for hanging directly on your wall or adding a decorative frame to match your home decor.

    Stretched Canvas with Premium Framing

This alternative gives your stretched canvas a finished look. A shadow box frame makes it appear as though the stretched canvas is floating within a black wooden frame. The shadow box effect allows you to view the stretch canvas as the image wraps around the edges while framing the artwork. The slight curve of the finshed 3-inch wide frame offers a soft delicate touch that completes the look and works in modern to traditional decors.
